Explorations of Yoga & Movement for Core Stability
In-Person, Portland, OR

This specialized class focuses on exploring body awareness during movement; you'll teach your body (and specifically your core) to be reflexive, responsive, supportive, functional and strong so that you will have increased capacity, decreased pain, and more stability in your everyday life. This class is ideal for those that need support in their lower back, pelvis and sacrum due to pain and instability. It is also ideal for those that need help rebuilding function in their core and pelvic floor, such as after the birth of a child, in cases of prolapse syndromes, and in diastasis recti. We will play with how the core is the center of your whole body, and how it is all connected.


SCHEDULE

Thursday mornings from 9:00 - 10:00 am at Lajja Studio in downtown Milwaukie

Tuesday evenings from 5:30 - 6:30 pm at The Breathe Building in SE Portland


PRENATAL YOGA GROUP CLASSES

Come join other pregnant people as you journey into parenthood! Prenatal yoga will prepare you for physical and emotional changes in pregnancy, birth and new parenthood. You will move through asana in order to strengthen your body, increase endurance and flexibility and promote optimal baby position for birth. 

You will also practice breath awareness to quiet the mind and listen to your own inner wisdom. This class will help you trust the normal birth process. Give yourself this time to be with your tiny baby within. If you are looking for strength, community and self-care, we are here for you.

Private Classes

Schedule either a one-time or series of private yoga classes in Portland. Working 1 on 1, we can design classes just for you.

POSTPARTUM YOGA & MOVEMENT Series

Postpartum Yoga Drop-in Classes

Tuesdays 10:30-11:45am

These classes are composed of yoga and stabilizing movement for those that have birthed a child within the last year.

Each class will provide time to connect to others with similar experiences. You will learn practices to help stay present, to reconnect with your core and pelvic floor and become aware of real-life movement patterns that will help you feel more strong and able.

This class will meet in community, in person, at Lajja studio in downtown Milwaukie, 10851 SE Main st.

Babies are always welcome.
